Carlton, a well respected, prolific musician, spent 14 years as the Pro-Audio manager of an extremely large music store chain, before joining the ranks of JTC, as our marketing Guru.

 

He brings with him a heritage in producing records. "It’s been hard for labels to adapt to the double whammy of diminishing production costs and recorded music revenues,” says Carlton.

 

Carlton preaches that the change in technology has meant that there’s now a massive disparity between who gets paid and who doesn’t. The artists and labels that harnessed large audiences have absolutely no problem monetizing their music. He is convinced that the solution lies in effective marketing techniques.
